Natural and comfortable living is a core belief at Ming Qing. Through all antique furniture collection and restoration processes and procedures, we maintain a clear focus on enhancing and protecting the environment.
 
Our antique furnitures are collected and procured from ancient townships and folk villages in the northern regions like Shanxi, Hebei, Henan, etc. All of which were made of natural timber, not any compreg material. When we restored some antique furnitures, we also will try our best to use the same kind of old natural timber, sometimes it is hard to find in special condition, In this case, similar grain, texture natural timber will be in use.
The old surface laquer will be removed lightly by sandpaper if it is necessary. It will take more time, but wil be environmentally friendly. The chemical paint stripper never be used.
 The most important is that all process paints and adhesives meet the requirements of environment protection of international standards, their entire formula, including the resins, colouring agents, hardeners and thinners are totally benzene-free, so it has extremely low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) with no strong odour. Ming Qing antique furnitures are the safest for your health and for the environment.
In 2003, we were awarded the coveted ISO 14001 certification, an international standard recognising our efforts to continually improve our operations to be more environmentally friendly.
